not_a_dog @ 01:11 am: Raezgon Theme Music
I have composed a theme for Raezgon. The intention was to make something really heroic, but some of the feedback that I have received on it also states that it sounds evil. ^^ Which is a plus when the music is inspired by images of a DRAGON.

pity this busy monster,manunkind,

not. Progress is a comfortable disease:
your victim(death and life safely beyond)

plays with the bigness of his littleness
--electrons deify one razorblade
into a mountainrange;lenses extend

unwish through curving wherewhen till unwish
returns on its unself.
A world of made
is not a world of born--pity poor flesh

and trees, poor stars and stones, but never this
fine specimen of hypermagical

ultraomnipotence. We doctors know

a hopeless case if--listen:there's a hell
of a good universe next door;let's go

EDIT: Darn it, LJ messes up the spacing. Oh well.

not_a_dog @ 08:24 pm: Evolving World
Just had a crazy idea regarding the world that this world would be set in. This world would truly evolve over time and nearly become a character unto itself. I'll try to make a map or drawing sometime in the near future and post it in here.

Hmm....no new posts in over two months.

Hope it gets more active again. I'll do my part.

syna @ 04:07 pm: Just a random thought: about the phoenix character we discussed... the names "Amara" and "Amaris" mean "forever/imperishable" and are, to me at least, red/fiery names (because the vowel a is red to me, lol). Do you think that's a good name for her? We could make it more fantasy-esque if you want.

syna @ 10:40 pm: We know the library has some kind of centralized location in the middle of nowhere, but I had a thought. Libraries nowadays have satellites; this helps them get new books, and distribute a wider variety of books to people who need them. Would this library have satellites, in major cities and other important locations perhaps? This could serve more than one purpose - there could be some kind of traveling system between the satellites that would lend itself to quests, and it could maybe serve as a means of passing information and getting new books from faraway lands. The librarians could be something of a force to be reckoned with if their system stretches all over the world and they monopolize information that would be otherwise hard to find.

My concern with this is that it may be simply TOO convenient. Part of what's fun about a quest is that you're fighting against the odds, after all. But it's a thought.
